If your brows disappear then your artist most likely didn’t microblading at proper depth of the skin. This is assuming you followed aftercare instructions perfectly and zero scabbing occurred during the healing process. If the brows look natural, then you will know you are in good hands!
If the cuts only go into the superficial epidermal layer then your body will basically push out the pigment or dye and it will NOT take. You know if your artist went the right depth because you will hear a characteristic “tearing” sound in the skin. There will also be SOME pain (but not a lot).
7-10 Days After = the scabs will begin to flake and fall off your brows naturally, so your skin may look a little, well, flaky. When the scab falls off, the skin underneath will look really light and pink – this is because it’s baby skin!
Your brows will be reddish, still quite tender, and maybe even a little bit thicker in texture than the day before. You may really notice the difference in your brows and feel like people are looking at them, but chances are you’re more self-conscious about it rather than people noticing them being darker than normal.
